Of all the abilities I could give you

I would choose to give you self-acceptance

So that you may make peace

with who you are

Of all the traits I could give you

I would choose to give you courage

So that you may soar

to greater heights

Of all the virtues I could give you

I would choose to give you patience

So that you may understand

That good things take time

to fully blossom and come to fruition

Of all the strengths I could give you

I would choose to give you wisdom

So that you may carefully discern

what is right for you

Of all the skills I could give you

I would choose to give you clear sight

So that you may see your greatness

and potential

And of all the treasures I could give you

I would choose to give you self-love

So that you may celebrate

and embrace yourself completely
